The Tianqiao and Chrissy Chen Institute for Translational Research Co-organizes Cognitive Impairment Science Week in Shanghai, China


The Tianqiao and Chrissy Chen Institute for Translational Research, together with the Shanghai Municipal Health Commission, the Science and Technology Commission and the Health Promotion Center recently organized the Cognitive Impairment Science Week from September 21-27. More than 10 free clinics, popular science activities and education sessions helped to educate people about the importance of brain health, raise public awareness of cognitive impairment and the application of new technologies in the field of cognitive impairment services.

 

The Cognitive Impairment Science Week launched on International Alzheimer’s Day, September 21, 2020. Academicians Muming Pu and Weikang Yuan, Director of the Tianqiao and Chrissy Chen Institute for Translational Research and President of Huashan Hospital, Professor Ying Mao and Researcher of TCCI® Transformation Center and Professor Yanyan Huang of Huashan Hospital delivered keynote speeches and Professor Mao explained that TCIBH is committed to using new technologies to treat cognitive disorders. Version 2.0 of the Shanghai Cognitive Impairment Services Map, which was co-produced by TCIBH, and a white paper on Shanghai Cognitive Impairment Prevention and Care Services System were also released.
