We’re happy to let you know that we’ll once again be playing our part at Neuroscience 2024, the annual meeting of the Society for Neuroscience which takes place in Chicago, Oct 5-9 this year.
This will be our first year supporting the SFN Chen Institute Young Investigators Award, an award which honors the outstanding achievements and contributions of an emerging scientist who has demonstrated scholarly independence and received their PhD or MD (or equivalent) within the past 10 years. Nominees must be active in research at the time of the award and show evidence of heading an independent research laboratory. Each year, SfN will administer a call for nominations and ensure all eligible nominations undergo rigorous assessment by the SfN Young Investigators Award Selection Committee composed of experts in the field of neuroscience. The award will be presented by the SfN president at a plenary session at the SfN annual meeting.
