CNS 2023: Cognitive Neuroscience Society Annual Meeting


TCCI is happy to sponsor The Young Investigators Award Lectures at CNS 2023, the annual meeting of the Cognitive Neuroscience Society which will take place March 25-28 in San Francisco.

The purpose of the Young Investigator Award is to recognize outstanding contributions by scientists early in their career. Two awardees are named by the Awards Committee each year and are honored at the CNS Annual meeting.

This year, the two awardees below will present on Monday, March 27 between 1:30-2:30pm in Grand Ballroom A at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Hotel.

  • Anna Schapiro, Ph.D. from the Department of Psychology at University of Pennsylvania. Her lecture this year is entitled “Learning Representations of Specifics and Generalities Over Time.”
  • Freek van Ede, Ph.D. from the Institute for Brain and Behavior Amsterdam, Department of Experimental and Applied Psychology at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in The Netherlands. His lecture this year is “Focusing Working Memory for Behavior.”
