Brain Signal Engineer/ Scientist


Responsibilities:

  • Be the primary architect and analyst of the largest databases of polysomnography (PSG) and invasively collected brain signals (ECoG/SEEG) in the world.
  • Work with a technician to set up and organize the databases, and install quality control processes.
  • Establish deep learning and other models that can describe brain signals and their relationship to behavior.
  • May support development of other databases.
  • May help to supervise the work of students or interns.
  • May contribute to scientific or other publications.
  • Contribute to public relations efforts such as setting up demos or video demonstrations.
  • Other related work.

Requirements:

  • Master degree (Ph.D. preferred) in electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, or similar.
  • Solid background in EEG/ECoG analytics.
  • Strong experience in Matlab and/or Python.
  • Preferred: experience with modern ML toolboxes (Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch) and modern AI concepts (generative AI).
  • Good oral English communication skills; ideally with overseas work experience.
  • Eager to learn and strong learning ability.
  • Strong team work spirits and communication skill.
